Being ‘on tour’ sounds very grand and slightly dangerous. It conjures up mental images of luxurious buses filled with groupies and awash with alcohol, or clapped out transits filled with second hand instruments, scrumpy and anxious musicians shouting at the GPS. But in a writerly context it means that a variety of bloggers, reviewers and other writers have graciously agreed to post something about you or one of your books on their sites.
I am ‘on tour’ at the moment to promote A Taste of Copper and would like to take a moment to thank the people who agreed to play host. A few posts have already gone up and they are definitely worth a look because there a terrific Rafflecopter giveaway with a superb prize organised by my publisher, Love Lane Books.
Future posts I’ll – um – post about as and when they go live but for the moment here are some links:
On Friday 26th Melanie at Scattered Thoughts and Rogue Words was my host.
On Saturday 27th I was with Lisa at The Novel Approach
On Sunday, 28th Nic Starr did the honours.
On Tuesday, 30 September, I was at Rainbow Gold Reviews.
Bless you all.
Go and check out the posts and have a click on the Rafflecopter thing. You could win a $15 voucher for Amazon or ARe! Just think of the books you could buy with that!
I am reading it now and thoroughly enjoying it! (I’m just being very slow because I’ve got to finish reading something for my critique group before Sunday and because I am currently writing a bazillion blog posts for my own book tour starting Friday!) I just wanted to let you know how interesting and informative I found your post on Anna Butler’s site today! I love all the detail about the suits of armor and how they fit together!
