GDPR

All the world knows by now about General Data Processing Regulations and the beefing up of security online. So this is a statement about this site and the data stored here.

In order to comment on any of my posts you will have to provide a valid email address. To set up the site so commenters have to provide email addresses is a WordPress decision, not mine. Your email addresses, plus you IP address, are stored in a private section of my dashboard and will not be used/shared in any way, other than to enable you to comment. If you would like to comment – and you are very welcome to do so – it will be in the knowledge that you are sharing your email/IP addresses by your own choice and that it will not be shared. If you later wish me to remove your data please let me know by email and I will delete your comment and associated information. Please note that WordPress has its own data storage systems over which I have no control.

Occasionally I may run a giveaway on the site, and then I will state clearly that the winner of the prize will be contacted by the email address they use to comment on the post. Again, you may enter the contest by your own choice and the email addy will not be shared any further.

I have installed the security plug ins that WordPress recommends and will keep them updated.
