Applejack
This novel length tale was inspired by a local story. Back in the 50s a farmer near Monmouth realised that he would have to find some other line of business if he wanted to keep his small farm going. His son was interested in music so they started the world renowned Rockfield recording studio. I wondered what might happen to a small society, passionately interested in a different kind of music, if such an establishment opened up in their midst. My friend, Kara Desler, had always wanted to write about rockstars, so we made a start. I hope one day I’ll be able to finish it.
